This is also available at Argos at the slightly less wallet-bashing price of £141. I bought one a few weeks back and they still have stock by the looks of it. This came up at the top of a Google search I did, so I'm surprised that you didn't see it. Apologies for that, I would have posted the link otherwise (as usual). Here it is now anyway for any others:

Tony,
I did get an e-mail from argos to say it was back in stock a few weeks back but I picked this up 2 days after they sent it and they were out of stock again !
Have just checked it again and it still shows out of stock after keying in postcode when you go through the order process. Perhaps you beat me to the last one!
Gareth - I did try the K10 grip, it worked but felt incredibly tight screwing it on and I didn't want to damage any of the contacts by tightening it further, they're also a slightly different shape and this annoyed me when holding it (more in my mind probably than the reality of holding it !)

I've just tried again and they are in stock for home delivery only, not store pickup! (I checked this before making the earlier post). Surely the postcode can't matter? Did you try ignoring the first screen and just placing the order for home delivery anyway? Strange...
I also agree about the Pentax grip. You can jam it on and it will work, but the finish is different and of course things don't quite line up the same. However, you can add to the funds for a new lens for the difference in price, so I can fully understand people using the Pentax grip.

Tony,
Spooky ! (or annoying maybe)
I went straight to buy and it was out of stock on Sheffield postode when checking stock availability, for example S10 1PA but whe I tried my former postcode from Norfolk NR11 6TX it shows in stock !!
I've got one now (an expensive one) but for anyone else you may want to contact Argos if you have a similar problem to me and save yourself a few quid!
I agree comments re saving money for a lense.
Regards

I took a look for a grip when I was considering the GX20 and they were available on Ebay from South Korea for around £80

FWIW, I just picked up a secondhand Samsung GX10 grip to put onto my K20D. It seems to fit fine, works OK, and at £60 including a spare battery, I'm quite pleased. There seems to be a bit of a gap at the join, but nothing that looks like it would matter.

Why not ask Gareth if he wants to do a trade?
You would both have the correct grip then

for my GX20 and they're hard to come by in the UK. I did a search and to my surprise amazon now had some sold through The Mount shop.
Ordered on the 5th and arrived today (9th) very happy as I did not want to chop up the K10 grip to fit the GX20.
The price was a bit high £181 inc postage but as I've not found it in stock anywhere else (its been discontinued I believe) Im happy to have got it.
If any Samsung users were after one (hope link works)
