Just had a few days away on the North Yorkshire coast & went along to Saltburn one night to take a couple of shots. All c&c appreciated

I like the first one. I think having the extra buildings, the lines of lights and rails leads you into the picture. The second one looks too cropped in comparision. Was it not possible to center the tram cars?

Thanks for the feedback Barry, completely agree with you - the only way of getting the tram cars in the centre would have been via a bit of "breaking and entering" into the entrance kiosk at the top, I like my photography but don't really fancy being arrested for it

After checking these at work and printing them off I've realised that the processing was way off, someone who remains blameless (ok - the wife) has changed the monitor settings - here are the newly edited shots...

Maybe the wife had something I think the originals had more of a night feel about them:

The first image from the second version does it for me. It has more depth in the blue/black ocean. At first glance I thought it was a lighthouse taken from and unusual angle !

My only comment as the same as Gareths regarding the rail cars being centred.

Some are more equal than others

I much prefer the later edits. It is always good to keep some colour in the sky. Well done.
