A simple picture but I quite like it. DA* 50-135mm at 75mm.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I love the pastel colours here,Kris.
One small question. Did you do some perspective correction on this one?
I ask, because the lady in the foreground seems a bit compressed

Kris,
This is a wonderful shot. Love the way you cropped it also and got the details to become more enhanced this way. The structure comes alive in this manner with very few plain areas in the image the ground being just the main plain surface. It has enough only to blend into the fantastic structures of the building. You obviously have put a lot of thought into this shot.
And the lady dressed in black staring at the top part of the building and precisely at the spot where she is standing makes the whole framing of this image quite stunning. In my view if she had been dressed in any other colour it wouldn't give the same impact as in this one . Was it planned?

Thanks both. The photo was slightly cropped to get various elements on the thirds, and to straighten up the verticals (I can never get my dSLR straight for some reason ). No perspective correction applied. It was not a deliberate set up, I was planning another shot when she wandered in front of where I was standing.

Cheers, Kris.

and here I was thinking it was your other half that you mentioned she was coming from the States, sometime ago, but I got lost with the dates whethere it was now or around the pentax meet .

Kris, I have a neighbour that looks absolutely like the lady in the image, I kid you not , and I wouldn't be surprised that it was her, honestly, and she dresses also in black lots of times. Did you see happen to notice what the lady in your image happens to be driving? If she had the Freelander than its definitely my neighbour.
