ISO3200 !!!!
Crikey. I would expect a lot more noise than that. I took some shots in Cambridge a few weeks ago with my K20D at ISO1600 as the light was low and I had a long lens. Much noisier.

There is also one with 6400 but the higher iso shots lack finer detail though but still very good never the less.

Although the high ISO is pretty good, she didn't need to go quite that high (1/6000s f/5.0 at 32.5mm iso3200!!!)
However it's great to see that the option is there.
ISO 800 doesn't look significantly better than the K-7 - it looks a bit frayed - but I wonder how it would have looked if she'd processed RAW images?

As I said it is her first ever DSLR. I am not sure she fully understood ISO settings at the time anyway - she probably left it all up to the camera.
I know she is working on improving her knowledge. She is one of those lucky people who gets to go back to Africa every year or so, and she wants to be able to get better photos.

Looking at the full exif some were on 'Program 2' which may have been sports or similar.
And it's actually better to let the camera do the work if you're not 100% sure of how everything works. Especially when you've just spent that much money on a holiday.
