I was up in Edinburgh yesterday. A great drive via the Coldstream road. Heavy snow and ice with plenty of sliding about.....

I was in two of those today, plus 3 or 4 others on Rose St. It was cold so I had to take some refuge, well that is my excuse.

Nice to see some familiar sights through someone else's eyes.

And I'm going there at the end of the month so I shall have a look at these (academic research only)

I too have spent many days of my misspent youth doing Rose Street or Leith Walk...
Many happy memories, my elder brother used to love a trip there for the football whenever Dundee were playing followed by a wee pub crawl...happy days...
Thanks for the memories...although Element must have been called something else when we were last there....

A lovely set, of very appealing subjects. I very rarely get to visit Edinburgh, but next time I do Rose Street will be on the list!
