50% crop ,and the camera/lens K5/Sigma 500mm f4.5 EX DG

That looks like a sharp lens. I have the 50-500 EX DG
That must be an expensive bit of glass. Front element must be dinner plate size.

I am very pleased with the results I get[it was a 50Th birthday present]. I used to have a Sigma 150-500mm HSM that was OK but no where near as sharp at 500mm .I have posted some pictures of my setup in the equipment section.Cheers Gary

I don't miss being able to zoom and find that I have less problems with dust on the sensor also.
