Yay!!!!

A friend used to launch his boat from a slipway not far from where you were standing. He took me with him several times. Down the river, around Poole harbour, back up the river, hang around for the tide to be right, make a fool of yourself trying to get the boat out of the water and back on the trailer. Plenty of good photography to be done from the back of the boat. Came to an end a few years ago when it was getting rather expensive to keep the boat in good, working order. Pity. Birds in flight from a boat that was moving in all directions simultaneously was always an exciting challenge!
