The flag blur is a good idea but I find the flag distracting from the main subject. There is within the shot three items to catch the eye the flag is not helpful imo, must explain that I am not sufficiently knowledgeable to make helpful technical comment on the shot but only give my impression of it. Must say it would seem you have done well in the available light, just a shame about the flag and pole.

I agree, I have done three crops and they all look ok.
I am quite happy for someone to edit the picture if they wish.
I took this particular car because the Riley car was developed and the initial vehicles built at my neighbours house before they moved production to Coventry.

Agree with some that the flag pole is a bit of a distraction, not helped by the variety of other lines, grill, bonnet chrome, windscreen surround. They do not seem to lead anywhere, for me the pole makes for confusing image. Maybe if the flag pole was also chrome :Lovely motor car. Did you use a poloriser?

Yes I like the first crop as well.
How did I remove the flag pole? I just cloned it out a very quick job and it could be done much better, changing to black & white and brightening a bit are the only other changes I did apart from the crop.
