They certainly do... I think Pentax do make one which replaces the eyecup, and there are also third party manufactured ones, like this:

I covet one myself as I have found myself several times recently face down on the ground trying to take a pic at ground level... Can't vouch for quality as I haven't tried on myself but I'm sure other members here will have one - and of course they'll be available from places like ebay maybe cheaper than this amazon-sold version...?

the simple answer is yes - but not on Pentax - I believe there are some C...n ones that are like that - not 100% certain you understand , but some maker has them

Techno, i fully understand. lol My only reservation swith ebay Mat, is that i get one that doesnt fit the k20 eyecup.. Thanks for the advice though. Sticking one side of my head in wet sand is one thing , sticking my head in mud is entirely different. i do expect to suffer for my art, but I dont expect to look like a complete and utter berk!!!

The old Olympus right angle finders also fit Pentax - and are much cheaper s/h than Pentax ones (though they don't have the 2x magnification option that the Pentax offers). I picked one up for £30 a few years ago.

Amilner, i still get my ear covered in mud and/or sand using the live view! I initially never saw the point of the tilting backscreen. Now i know why it is such a good idea. Saying that I think I'd still prefer the 90 degree viewfinder as i can barely see the backscreen in bright daylight.

Tilting backscreens are even more useful than right angle finders though... it's really comfortable taking shots from ground level with one, and you can raise the camera above eye level and compose a shot over the top of an obstruction - or reduce converging verticals by raising the camera up.

I've been told the Olympus finder reverses the viewfinder image, is that right?

I have the Pentax refconverter-m. It does not work for me with my bifocal glasses. It cost me £70 a way back off the forum. There are cheaper options but if anyone wanted to stay Pentax I would be open to offers. It is in the original box and leather?? pouch.

Last week, I found a used, genuine Pentax, 2x magnifying, right angle finder attachment which fits all of my Asahi Pentax film bodies for Aus $29-00.Just spent the weekend in Cornwall and took some very low angle shots. could have done with a 90 degree viewfinder!!!! It is of a metal body and glass construction, in beautiful optical and cosmetic order and will be great for those awkward shots or for critical focusing on a tripod. Only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a pentaprism, so it gives a mirror image L-R reversal, but I can live with it.

the pentax view finder addapter is a bit loose but the olympus one is a good fit.
it has a diaopter adjuster built in and works very well

Yes that is true, but you get used to it

I've used a Seagull one on both a K10 and K7, good value at around £20 from Fleabay or similar, not requiring it that often, could'nt really justify spending more, plus the same thing is available from retailers for a lot more.
