Ricoh lenses are very high quality items. Owned several in the past. Never disappointed.

Yep, and a moderate zoom range that doesn't push the optical boundaries too much should deliver fine results.
I used to have a Rikenon 35-70 that was pretty good but I can't say that the focussing was as crisp and positive as Pentax or indeed Tamron.
For £10.50 however, I think you've got an excellent buy!

Be careful if want to use it with an autofocus Pentax. (i.e. *ist(D), ...)
It might get stucked to the body. Some Ricoh lenses have a special pin that stucks in the AF transmission hole of the PK Bajonet. It's very tricky to remove the lens afterwards. If this happens a thin (~0.1 mm) gauge should help you.
