Restoring an old b/w photo.

My wife has an old photo of her Mum and Dad which she is trying to get restored so she can give it to her Dad as a birthday present. I have scanned it and had a go at it with PSP and Gimp, but do not have the talent.

Does anyone know of a restoration service where preferably I could email a scan and they could clean it up and print it.

Original looks like this -

Contact me by PM and I'll see what we can arrange.
Best regards, John

Just received the pictures from John

Nice job - reasonable price - thanks John

Fair play to Posty as well for using his/her initiative and putting the letter through the (open) living room window rather than ramming them through the letterbox

Is it much to be asked:
Can you show us the result as well ?
?

Hi Aiki - sort off. My scanner is old and tends to blow whites, so the picture will give you an idea how good John is at restoring damaged photos, but not of the image quality he is capable of.

Excellent work, you have to remind yourself where the crease was to spot it on the retouched piece.
