Remote flash question

Please can anyone suggest the best gadget to fire a flash gun remotely, without the use of the built-in flash as a trigger? Is there anything available without going for the expensive Pocket Wizard? I have a K-7 and a Metz 48 AF-1.

Many thanks

Geoff

Cactus v4 works quite well, approx £35 from GadgetInfinity in Hong Kong for a trigger and a receiver. They sell on ebay and I think also direct from their website. They are a 'proper' shop, my trigger stopped working after a few months and they were very quick about replacing it under warranty.

I'm not sure PocketWizards are compatible with Pentax anyway?

Many thanks Tim, I've had a look on their website and that seems a viable option. I've never even heard of it before.

Cheers

Geoff
