remote control using bulb

I'am looking for a remote control for my K20d, for using it at bulb.
It should have a lock function, so that the first click opens the shutter and let it open till I click again.
Is there any remote control which has such an option, from Pentax or a cheap third party one, maybe from Delamax etc.

I have a remote controll with a slide that slides over the button and keeps it pressed in.
Would that do the trick?

You also have electronic remotes that you can automate.
Maening saying it must make shots with intervals and most of them has a bulb timer.

A slider over the button will do it. Can you tell me the name of it?

Most of them Have it I believe, mine is a cheap Hama one for the canon xxxD series.
The connection of the canon 450D for example are the same as pentax, that would expand your range what you can use quite a bit.

It's called a remote shutter cord - eBay is awash with them for very little money (this is the first one I came across but just search for "Pentax remote" and you'll find hundreds).

Any remote with a 2.5mm jack will do - you'll find many more being advertised for Canon as their cameras also use a 2.5mm jack meaning the remotes are completely interchangeable.

So there is no infrared remote which supports a lock function.
I will go for a remote shutter cord.
Thanks for your help

Yes there is. Check with SRS.
I got one, worked with K20D. Its great because it comes with the option of using it with the cord if you prefer, if you want to use infra red all you have to do is just unplug the cord.

The slider on the side if activated each push of the button activates the shutter release and another push of the button stops it. Let me see if I can find the item on SRS site

AFAIK you cant do it with IR, the battery would run down quite quickly.

This one has a small slider on the left side, if you use it with the BULB function in the camera each push of the button will activate the shutter release. First one to open it up and next one to stop it.

And it comes with a cable with pins on the ends, you insert one pin underneath that access you see on the bottom of the remote and the other goes into the camera and you have a cable release remote too as an option when prefered

Always happy to help.
I am sure you will enjoy the remote, that one has lived practically in my pocket everytime I am locked in the shed, helping me get countless hours of pleasure while puffing some smoke
