Nooo,Archie-Duke was the one that got shot,by some chap with a black hand called Gabriel (can`t spell his surname and I ain`t looking it up on Wicket-pedia)....and anyway,there were conflicts well before Prussia.
I would have put more in this comment but I don`t want to get shouted at for being too political and furthermore I would not wish to be seen as disrespectfull to those who have fallen....without them,we might not have the joy of a forum.

the Crimean War was the start of a lot of the trouble... although you can probably keep going back in time, but the end of the Crimean War saw a lot of the pacts that led to the domino effect that followed old ferdi and the black hand gang contretemp.
WW1 was (probably) the last of the great Imperial wars that had raged throughout Europe for centuries - mainly as there was only 1 imperial power left afterwards (the UK).
