Cheers Phill - managed to snap this one in the hazy strong light....
Made the same mistake as last time I knew they were coming - I didn't use a medium/long zoom, I used a 300 + 1.4x converter - too close to get the whole formation

They were heading to the Midlands Air Festival at Ragley Hall, near Alcester, Warwickshire. I live less than 2 miles from there, so was able to capture these from my garden.

Can be difficult when the light is so strong and there is a bit of haze. Messes with the colours in a way that is difficult to correct in PP.
