Those are great looking shots Mike. The last few are stunning and that red really stands out.
Would love to have some of those shots in my collection, if I manage to get somewhere where I could shoot them .
I guess this is when the real beauty of the bigma shines huh?

I took the Bigma (with the DA* 60-250mm just in case of rain) because I thought I would need the extra length but looking through I think I only took a couple at 500mm, most were around 250mm so I could have just taken the Pentax lens. Still quite impressed with the Sigma though.

Nice pictures Mike. I like the colours.
No3 looks a bit ominous. Aeroplanes do eat birds, but it gives them terrible (if not terminal) indigestion.

Great shots Mike - number 1 shows the heat haze well and the colour and contrast in number 9 is very good. The Bigma looks to be a sharp lens.
I'm going to be borrowing a Sigma 150-500 for a few weeks soon, I wonder if that will be as good?
What airfield did you see the Reds at out of interest?

Will be interesting to see how you get on with the 150-500mm after whats been said about it by the last 2 members to buy one. The Airfield was Hurn international airport ... illusions of grandeur I think, it's only the size of a largish sized field

Mike (no offence), quality is not the best, not sharp and/or blurry (not speaking about the first one ). I have said that as I know you can take much better pics (just by seeing your photos in the gallery).

Some nice shots in there they will be in Sunderland next month for the air show here. Im hoping it is better than last year as the show was canceld due to heavy fog. I am waiting for a couple of converters to arrive to try out on the Tam 70/300 on my k10.
