Some interesting and unusual shots there Kev - keep it up. My favourite is number 3 - but it would look even better if you were able to clone out the green in the top left corner.

I like the composition and the use of narrow depth of field in these, first two I like the best.

Thanks, guys. I was walking down this path with my two year old son when I took these shots, so didn't have the time to really get in to it, but I was happy with a few of them. And I love playing with depth of field!

I like the first one. It has a forboding air to it, I feel. Although the focus is on the dandilion head, my eye is drawn into the back of the photo...wondering what is there.

Imaginative use of a dandelion in number 1 (unlike most of us here ), like it a lot. Well done!

Thanks for the great comments, I really appreciate it.
Peter, the dark in the background is a pathway in shadow from the surrounding trees. It was about mid-afternoon, around 3pm, so the light was pretty good, but with the dandelion being so white, and the primary focus of the image, all of the light went to the dandelion. It wasn't that dark at all, as you can see in the final two shots of the pathway.

Love the dandelion! Good composition and nice bokeh.
The fence pictures don't do anything for me, I'm afraid.
