You know, it's a real shame.
I was hoping the fastest shutter speed would be 4 microseconds which is what I need to photograph still life. (1/250000)
Can you tell me if the kit lens has 40 aperture blades as indicated in the promo material?
Will I be able to use my existing lenses with this new camera?
Please advise the website I can pre-order this masterpiece.

It comes with a special adapter for it's 64 blades. What you do is turn the lens over and screw in the plastic bowl that is included in the BIG BOX. Plug the lens in to a standard wall plug and your ready for fresh fruit juice or your favorite Pina Colada cooler...After using just put in to your dishwasher on short cycle and "Voila" ready for your next picture.

I read your thread on DP Reviews re: 10 mega pixels not enough for Pentax K10D. Well I agree! Really!!!! As you know the only reason I came on board with Pentax was the knowledge that their new pro camera will have a choice of six major resolutions, starting at 21 mega to 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512 million pixels on an APSC sensor with the provision of going up to 12800 iso with very little noise or the option to emulate Agfa Chrome 1000 iso slide film. It will boast shutter speeds of up to 1/20000 of a second at a frame rate of 16000 images per second. Included with the camera you will receive a two year contract with one of the ten best photo agents in the world with a guaranteed daily rate of 100K* per day photographers fee not including royalties. The camera will come in at 299€ including their Kit lens the venerable 10-200 f1.4 Ultra Slop Platinum Lens.
Now go and make the announcement on DP Reviews and ask why Phil hasn't yet covered this story..
