Raw thumbnails

Does any clever person know if its possible to get windows to display a thumbnail of a PEF file in windows explorer? it may not even be possible but it would be nice, as I'm using adobe camera raw and find that I need to open up each file individually to see what it is am I doing something silly? (apart from the obvious answer of using acr instead of silkypix )

the PEF's have a JPG embedded in them, so it really should be doable if someone with the requisite knowledge put their mind to it. I haven't seen anything to make it happen though

I always open the directory in Pentax Browser, then you get thumbs.

In Silkypix use "Open Folder" (not Open File) and you'll see all the thumbnails

There is a Camera RAW plugin for Win XP, but it won't cover the K10D yet.

dpMagic Plus. It will display the thumbnails in a normal windows folder, but it hasn't been updated so it cannot preview the whole PEF nor run a slideshow.

If you're using Adobe Raw Converter, just use the Browser in PS to show the thumbs. Thats how I do it.
