Love the second shot of the red Impreza - nicely captured action there.

Get any more good ones of the MkI Escorts? All four wheels off the ground preferably?

Some great action shots there, looks like the bright light spoiled a few though

The pain I endured to get that shot...guess which way those rocks were thrown
More of the MkI and Mk II Escorts to follow..hopefully. But none at the jump. I only got those down in the forest, in the morning.

Yeah..I struggled with light all day...then again; isn't that what photography is all about

In the forest, first thing it was quite dark, so to keep the fast shutter I had to hike the ISO up to 1600. Then I forgot to put it back down, so ruined a few shots when I had decent light, ( very noisy! ).
Then, later in the day it was brilliant sunshine, but with all the cars being highly polished, lots of lovely reflective surfaces.

Still, I'd only complain if it had rained

Well, numbers one and two are of Mark Higgins and my good lady has bought me a half day rally course for my 40th, coincidentally at a rally schol owned and run by the Higgins family.

So, I might print number two off, ( having put my name on it ), and put it in a cheap frame and give it to them when I go down there. Never know, I might just get some free merchandise off them :winks:

Love number 2 great sense of speed and action, unfortunately the last two Escorts look a bit frozen for me.
A poor life this, if full of care,
