Raindrops on leaves

One of my favourite things to do with the K-3 and DA 35mm Limited is to take photographs of raindrops on leaves. This can be done while it's still raining (I've never had a problem even though the DA 35mm is not weather-sealed) or just after, though if the sun comes out afterwards then that may drastically increase the contrast and dynamic range in the small scene and lead to many blown-out highlights in the raindrops. Focusing can be tricky and it's important not to over-expose or over-brighten which may reduce the lovely green tones that can be achieved. I like to shoot at f/2.8 or f/4 so that not much is in focus and I feel the images get a nice 3D feel to them.

These are from the other day while it was still drizzling.

Beautiful shots apart from that 4th one which triggers an 'ick' response (see Trypophobia)
All the gear with no idea

I had to look that up as I've never heard of it, but there are no holes in the image...

It's the shape of the circles that does something!
