Very good indeed, the 'bad' conditions add so much. 5 then 7 for me.

Good set, the panning shots are all well taken, but my personal favourite has to be number 2. I like the leading yellow line, the tilt, and the bustle of activity. Funky brake lights too!

Nice shots. I like 2 as something different too and very nicely composed, but the "cliched" panning shots are superbly executed as well, especially 3 and 4. No 5 I find the car is in an odd place in the frame, it might have been better in the bottom right. Not that I could take these, never really tried to master panning. Old monuments don't move particularly quickly.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks for the comments guys, it was a fun few days.
I'm inclined to agree with Iltexano on the first one, the out of focus woman is a bit too prominent, but I was aiming for the 'Wet Practice' marshall and sign to be the main subject. I did try a closer crop so that the woman was to the LH side of the frame but I thought it lost too much of the perspective.
I also concur with Kris to certain extent. I agree that to probably would have been better with the car in the 'default' bottom RH corner, but the focus was on the tail lights so it seemed more natural to move that point further in to the frame and give an impression of where the car had come from, rather than where it was going. But it doesn't quite work really.
