Nice to see the characters of the railways as a point of interest, rather than the machinery. Good shots Barrie.

Good point - nice shots
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Good portraits of working men Barrie. I'll post some of mine from our trip to Bury shortly.

I like them all, the first shot though I think he needs a dirty face, soot or oil maybe.

Yes, it was a good day David.

I do like the way the track lead you down to the second engine in your first image

Some super train shots from both of you. Really must do this some time.

Like your portraits too Barrie. Think first one would be the favourite if you can darken/remove the hand coming out of his ear

David, Great set your mono shot of the K1 really stands out for me.

Barry, I can see your really getting into this train thing! Your last shot of the Jinty (47584) is my favorite, might be worth a mono conversion

I really enjoyed the day it could have been a bit warmer and a shame about the bacon butties but a great day all the same.
Cliff.

Thanks Cliff. I have tried B&W with that one but my lack of skill means I loose a lot of detail, over the colour version.
