Number 2 was shot using a fish-eye/wide-angle??.. It looks as though the nose cone's been bent towards the left!

The final pic would have looked more dramatic if you'd caught the shot with the afterburners switched on in the engines, I think.

My fave?.. Number 1!!... A bright, colourful image.

Yes, No. 2 was with the 10-17mm as was No. 4. I got a good few shots of afterburners but not all with the K5 as the 55-300mm was a little slow on focus and tracking. This is one of the K5 shots, odd that the lower right is blurred more than the top left. Maybe after burner heat haze or vapour haze from the wings?

A great set I love the bright colors and they are very nicely composed and from some great angles.

Using "spoilers" for roll control will do that. Ailerons roll the plane around the longitudinal axis, but "spoilers" will only "drop" the wing on which they are deployed. Some fighters use "spoilers" for roll control because they sometimes have a faster roll rate than ailerons, and no adverse yaw.
