The MX uses a totally different sort of shutter to the ME and A series cameras, and hence needs either Winder MX or Motor Drive MX.
The MX shutter is a horizontally running rubberised silk mechanical shutter. The ME etc use a vertically running electronically controlled metal shutter.

Is a film camera winder for an MX, the same as one for a Super Program - Program A?
From what I can see, the electrical contacts seem to line up and I believe the bodies of these models have identical dimensions?
