Love the pic overbeyond. Black and white old industrial photographs have to be my favourite. Was hoping to do a mini project over the summer in an old industrial town not far from where I live, but alas the weather has put and end to that for now!

I just took my dog for a walk along aberavon beach, it were great!

took my camera too.

got some great shots of gulls, kites, kitesurfers.

got home and realised I'd left it on iso 1600, banding was awful

I've just unticked the box for keeping iso on switchoff.

Anything else I should let the camera 'forget'?
Please call me aj,

I sometimes forget that I have that checked, I was shooting at a party and each time I turned the camera on I wondered why it was telling me the image would be underexposed. Then I realised that it was at ISO100 not 400

Thanks Clarky. That was with my Sigma 105mm macro on my *istD. There's an outline of the technique on my blog here.

Dan
K-3, a macro lens and a DA*300mm...

thanks to justgetoutandride for posting my picture correctly.

HI Davem,

This is what you entered:

Comment Image

Note that this is not a link to the actual image but a partial link to your page. When entering image links, you need to use the full address. That is you need to put the web location and the name of the image including the .jpg (or .tiff or whatever)

I then ctrl+clicked on the image of the bird to pull up a dialogue box, then selected 'copy image location'. I pasted this into a message box here and put the img tags around it.

this is the actual image address:

hope that helps

thanks, I think I fixed it. Can't for the life of me figure out how to post pictures, surely this should be a sticky somewhere?

Try the FAQ section:

By the way, I still get a "Forbidden" error when trying to access your link.
