Question about HDR
You need a sturdy tripod and there should be no problem.
Dan
1) Use Av aperture priority you don't want the camera changing DOF on you by altering the aperture, just the shutter speed.
2) For the same reason after allowing the camera to focus I turn off Auto Focus.
3) Most of mine are hand held if its a bright day for interiors I use a tripod.
4) If using a tripod use a cable release to avoid any shake, and turn off Image Stabilization.
5) Use Photomatix Pro it can deal with slight misalignments quite well and ghosting when things move in your pictures.
6) 3 frames 2 stops apart is my norm, but its best to take spot meter readings and work out how many stops you need and set.
Here are a few examples, some of these are quite old,I really should update this.

And, if it is done by taking 5 different shots, how do you guarantee not slightly moving the camera, on it's tripod, when dialling in each different exposure setting?
