Quarterly Comp Upload Question

I was wondering if when you check the 'Enter Pentax User Quarterly Competition' option when uploading a photograph if it eventually shows up in your My Portfolio on this site? I uploaded one and it hasn't shown up yet

no it will not you will have to upload to the gallery again and not tick the comp box

Actually it will eventually appear in your Portfolio, but after the competition has been judged. If in the meantime you have uploaded the images again, without ticking the box, then at some time in the future you will end up with two identical images showing.

Ah, why does it do that? I mean so people can't see your competition entry?

It's similar to the process of sending an entry to a magazine - nobody sees the entries until the winners are declared.
