QR plates

I am wondering if anyone knows of a stockist of either Really Right Stuff or Kirk plates, particularly their L brackets, in the UK. Apart from Nikonians that is - they, naturally enough, don't offer plates for Pentax cameras.
K'berg have them in Holland but only for Canikon I could order directly from the US but was hoping to avoid the customs hassle involved.
Or maybe you know of someone else who make Arca-Swiss compatible L-plates, or even standard QR plates for Pentax cameras?

I have done some googling but so far I've only found this. Seems they only make them for the K10D though.

Can i ask a silly question How does this device actually work, does the camera rotate on it without having to disconnect it from the tripod ::

Seems very expensive for what it does.

The QR plate I have now is only suitable for the Ds so I thought I'd go for an L plate, it being a bit more practical.
Looking at the prices it is cheaper to get it from the US and cough up the BTW and any duties. Hopefully the douane will be having an off day and let it through - hasn't happened to me yet though
K'berg would order one for me but by the time they have added their cut it gets seriously expensive.

If it can help you, I can get it for you and send it as "used" so you could save the taxes. Since the amount is not too high, I'd be willing to take a chance and buy it and get the payment when you receive the good.

Clarky, you have to take the camera off the tripod to turn it, but it means if your ball head is set up correctly, ie level, you do not then have to faff about resetting it when you want to take a portrait format photo. They are expensive - nearly all Arca Swiss compatible plates are expensive anyway - L plates are just more so. They are beautifully engineered little things, at least the RRS one is, I haven't seen the Kirk one. A friend has one on his Nikon and I am very impressed with it. Since I have to get a new plate for the K20D I thought I'd go for the L-plate. Especially as I have no plans to buy a grip for the K20D.
