Puerto Soller

This is a set (too large a set, I know, but these were a selection!) I took on our recent holiday. All in one small place. Please feel free to comment: my son says my holiday photos lack freshness, become formulaic and are mostly derivative! (You always get the truth from a child...even a twenty year old one!)

Best wishes,

Andrew

Nice set, I especially like the tram.

We spent a week in Soller a few years back, such a wonderful place. Getting the little tram from the town to the port is great fun.

Thanks Peter,

It's a favourite spot of ours and highly photogenic.

Glad you like them Emms. I like BW too, but it was the light and the colour which got to me in Majorca.

A.

You're right, Gareth. The balance of the whole shot would improve. I did clone out an intrusion on the left, but blanched at the thought of dealing with the lamp post!

It's actually my least favourite: I like the wisteria shot with the old lady and the geraniums with defocused balconies have a strong sense of place for me.

Thanks, as always, for commenting.

Lovely colours, Andrew, especially in the ceramics. I also like the Pelargoniums.

Cheers,

Howard

The BW palm tree shot for me, although I also like the biker and the tram. A nice set, makes me want to visit!
