I noticed an 'ad' or perhaps spam from a new member selling Canon Gear earlier today, it's gone now. However, is there something, somewhere that explains the site's rules which might have forewarned said new member that selling Canon Gear here is infra dig? If I was looking for that sort of info I'd look in the FAQ but there's nothing there to say that wasn't on.
I'm sure at one time one could bring up a list of forum sections where there might be a specific sticky in a relevant section explaining the site's for sale rules but that seems to have gone too, if it was ever there. The only way I can see to show what forum sections exist is to start a new thread! This particular thread would be better placed in a site specific forum about PU issues; but there isn't one! The Forum Home link where one may expect to see a list of forum sections only has site announcements (which isn't really a member forum contributory area) and a Just Joined section. Yet there is a section on unanswered posts which might be relevant for a company to deal with customer queries to help their agents deal with new product queries but that doesn't seem to fit in here. It's as if the site's bare bones haven't been fully revamped following its new look last year.

The individual sections have descriptions, plus there are explanatory stickies where relevant, including in Classified Ads.

Thanks John. Perhaps reduce the large gap between Just Joined and Digital? I looked at that page but didn't see the rest, i.e. Digital onwards! There's also a pretty large gap between Digital and Film, and film and General. Once one realises there's more than the first two categories it's fine, but one has to scroll into empty space to find them.
There isn't a dedicated PU queries section though.
