PTTL works

Hi Guys
Some weeks ago I got sound advice concening the limitations of a Jessops 360AFD gun on my K10.

Well because often I need flash for almost spontaneous shots I decided that I did really need a PTTL gun. SRS again excelled with a next day delivery and am I now the proud owner of a Metz 48.(Pentax dedicated)

First shots including all sorts of odd bounce angles have been superbly exposed and I now look forward to swatting up from Mattmatics guides and elsewhere so that I might be able to use the new gun more creatively.

I can see that with lenses like the DA 17-70 I am going to have to restrict just how much I can use the camera's own flip up gun (because of shadows from the lens) for those occasions where I'd like to have the Metz off camera but controlled wirelessly. This is all new to me!

Once again a mega plaudit to SRS for their fantastic service and the other forum members who post such helpful comments to guide those of us with less experience.

Cheers, Geoff

Metz and Matt what a combination.
The older I get the faster I was.
