Proper way to frame a photo?

Sorry Gwyn, can't help that, but definately worth downloading the viewer as Peter suggested as the information is spot on.

In a nutshell:

Tape window mount to an under mount to create a clip / book mount

T-hinge art work to under mount

Avoid Sellotape, masking tape, parcel tape and spray adhesive like the plague!

Guessing you would like an image, I'll do one on one of today's jobs later!

Bit later than expected, some pics of a mount I just finished


1. Attach window mount to under mount



2. Print ready to go in clip mount



3. Line the print up, weigh it down to stop it moving



4. 2x T-hinges to hold the print in place



5. Finished item (work in progress!)

I always used a Scotch ATG Gun for mounting photos in frames
and prints in wedding albums etc. Just one piece about 3-4inch long
close to the top of the print, which might have been dry-mounted
to a thin piece of card first to keep it flat.
