Phil,
No daft questions, only daft answers!
When you purchase Silkypix they email you a registration code, which you enter after clicking Help > Registration.
I don't remember removing the free version, I just installed the full version over the top of it.
I can't actually remember the last piece of software that I purchased that came on media!

Thanks Tim
One last question. Does it matter which way round you do it? I.E. Download and then purchase the licence or vice versa?
thanks

Hi Philip
I have downlaoded and run both versions at home.
You do not have to un-install the free version first. All that will happen is when you install the licenced version you will end up with bot versions fully functinal on your computer.
I't doesn't matter which way around you buy the licence but you are only given the option to enter the key once you have installed the full version and run it for the first time.
Personally I had both running until I obtained the licence key and then removed the free version.

I downloaded the free version of Silkypix and have now decided to buy the latest full version.
This is where I get a bit confused on the website.
Do I uninstall the free version and then download the full version?
Is buying the licence a seperate function that I must do after downloading the full version to enable it to work by presumably inputting a key they then email to me?
I note that if I click on downloading the full version, all my details come up i.e. name, email address etc..?
Or do I simply buy a licence and somehow activate the full version from my free version?
Sorry to sound a bit dim but I do find downloading and buying sotware always a strange procedure and much prefer to buy boxed versions with a CD and written manual etc... though this appears unavailable with Silkypix.
