I was having some probs with printing and some one said to print direct from photoshop using it,s settings rather than the printer settings and it worked. But i do not know much about printing.

Not an expert in printing,but try setting let Computer manage colours

The magenta hue can be corrected by reducing magenta in the printer software. I use -7 magenta for my Epson printers, which is just about right.

I don't suppose it could be anything as simple as a clogged jet on your printer? Might be worth trying the test print utility that's found on most printers. What are the colours like if you print a web page containing some full-colour photos? For what it's worth, I leave colour management turned off in my software (Serif PhotoPlus) and let my Epson printer sort things out. The results are pretty well spot-on. I doubt if monitor calibration is the issue. Good luck.

Any why does it not just print whats on the screen.
Someone's going to mention calibration........ how?
