I bought this some years ago with the intention of digitising a huge collection of negatives and slides. Found I just didn't/don't have the patience to mess around.

I'd like this to go to someone who would use it. I've powered it up so I know it works, but can't offer any scanned results, so here's the deal if you're interested.

If you pay postage I'll send it off to you next week. If you like it, it's yours for 10 that'll go straight in my new Grandsons piggy bank. If you don't, dispose of it as you will.

Just fyi, sold prices on that auction site in the past couple of months ranged from 8.99 to 89.99.

John, you intimated that you would like to see the result of a slide scan. Well here it is as I can't put an image in a PM . This is a Q&D scan of a 46 year old Kodachrome slide taken with a Praktica camera during the construction of Phase 2 of Drax Power Station in 1978. Other than a rough edit to the colour balance it is as-scanned.

Now that's not bad. Thanks for posting.

John, out of curiosity I scanned a HP5+ B&W negative and gave it a little tweak in PS. I'm quite impressed with the result.

You're rubbing it in now, aren't you!

Another great result.
