That's exactly the reason why i didn't renew my subscribtion last year. Althought there are a lot of good articles in it, it is to much focused on the big two. But hey....you don't bite the hand that feeds you, i guess. Canon and Nikon as the main advertisers in each issue. Each year you see an increasment of advertising space. But then ........,it's the only way to survive in a very competitive business.

This seems to be the story everywhere! I am hoping that the new bodies and glassware arrive in good time and more magazenes/shops start paying Pentax their due attention.

What's so strange I've not had these emails before... nothing for the EOS40D, D3. D300, EOS 400D...
Just for that little tonka toy
Could I be right in thinking that PP may be 'dumbing down' and specifically catering for the EOS consumer camera owner?? The photography in the magazine has improved lately but the shameful plugging of Canikon is very off-putting
Guess Oly owners feel more embittered, great cameras/just off the radar screen in terms of camera-buying public

I guess, you could always unsubscribe from that terrible spam.
I presume they send as under cover as the PP newsletter?
Anyway....., the delete knob is just 2 inches away.

It was under the banner of Photo Answers... remember the quality photo mag of about 20 years ago? Always had a briefly clad model on the front page

Thanks for the state it is today.
I stopped subscripting when I lost my job in 1994 after I had received the Photo School -- Certificate of Excellence which was kind off cool for someone living in Canada as we could not enter the competition, I did not even realize it was still being published.
Have a great weekend,

Subject line 'New Canon DSLR' .....
The Pentax and Samsung are relegated to second-billing...
I bet when 300D/350D/400D owners want to upgrade they will be rather unimpressed that:
a) new battery
b) SD instead of CF cards
c) different battery grip
