PPG Upload Delays - How Long?

Hi all, I have uploaded my first pictures to the PPG now it's up and running again. They were loaded 2 weeks ago (almost) and are still 'Pending'. Is this normal? How long does it usually take for pics to get accepted or rejected?

It can take weeks. I have no idea what the criteria are for votes and when the crtitical mass might be reached, so it's difficult to judge what makes a successful image.

I uploaded 5 the first week. 3 were accepted within 7 days and the others are still pending.

Of the new uploads the approvals so far have taken between a week and two, with half of them pending.

Update. I uploaded ten shots on 27th Oct (before they restricted it to five) and they have all now been approved, so two and a bit weeks max for that batch.

Thanks to you all for your advice. I guess it depends largely on how good the pics are and how many votes they get.
