I'll expect to see a decision on mine by Xmas thenI have pictures waiting to be reviewed for a long time now
And yes the quality is quite high which does make voting difficult, though I have settled on a simple strategy for that; If it was my own would I have put it in

I find this quite and interesting peek into a world I know nothing about, I have looked on the PPG site and not considered my humble attempts worth submitting, however it's nice to see so many members of our forum are so active on the PPG.

I've got two in, which is a low acceptance rate within my own selection. I'm happy with it, but when I compare my work to others I see there...

I had 5 go in over the last couple of days. They were all submitted between 1 and 3 weeks ago.

Very nice shot Alan. I would have voted for it. Tim, some brilliant shots that really show off what Pentax equipment can do!
I managed to squeeze a few into PPG under the radar. The one that was rejected was the one which people on here liked the most from the set!
As far as voting goes, I consider whether the shot shows Pentax equipment in a favourable light, as the gallery is a sort of shop-window for the brand, and whether it shows Pentax photographers as creative and competent behind the camera.

I have had three photos rejected in the last few days, and two accepted. The rejects were an architectural shot, a derelict factory shot and a abstract of a piece of machinery. The accepted ones were both... you guessed it... sunsets!I find I'm getting bored very quickly, as a matter of principle I wont vote for sunsets, captive animals and 90% of the macro shots...
There is definitely a flavour of shots that are in favour.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Entered my first photos (6 in total) last month and all got accepted.
They are all very different so I was surprised to see them all pass.

I wonder what will happen if I would enter this photo link
I've read that edited photos aren't allowed but the infra-red landscape converted to duotone also got true

Stefan, I like the little smile one. Lovely use of natural light and a wide open lens. Very nicely done. K.

I have voted in many many photos, it never stops, they must have a huge backlog. I was hoping that by voting I would help speed the process along... No luck.
I must say I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the photos. I expected to see much more crap than I did
