Great! If it's ok let us know if it would fit the Ds as well. I don't fancy paying almost £50 for the Pentax version.
I've had good experiences of 7dayshop where you bought it since I read about them on this forum.

Bryan,
I bought both supplies (there's a 1Amp and a 2.5Amp, each with different voltage ranges). Both are really neat and compact. I haven't had a chance to use it on the *ist-D - I did use the 2.5A on the Flashtrax which worked a treat.
I'll try the *ist-D tonight if I get a chance

Just for your information...
I couldn't get the power supply working on the *ist-D - the plug sizes don't seem to fit well enough . I'll see if I can come across an alternative.

It does work. There are two yellow tipped plugs - the larger of the two fits, but you must push it home properly. Also, make sure that the Tip sign on the lead matches up with the + sign of the plug.
The thing that caught me out: I was trying it with the battery compartment door open to prove that I had no battery power. The *ist-D has a door sensor and won't power up if the door is open! So you can use the power supply if the door is closed!!

Bryan - you need the "digital" one. It's 2.5A, and has selectable voltage. You'll notice the voltage you need is marked on the camera - 6.5v (So you set the switch before plugging in )

I've just ordered a supply for my *ist-D:

(A good idea when doing CCD cleaning etc).
I'll let you know how it fairs when I get it
