posting photos
I have joined e-PHOTOzine to do it, and have found out how to 'upload'.
It WAS FREE but I got in just in time as three days later they put a membership charge on it !
Taken the PLUNGE - BUT FILM STILL RULES !!!

You can "hotlink" pictures into this forum, but not from every site. What you need is your picture already on another web site, and then you put a line of code into your message that tells the software where to find the picture!
Ironically, you can't hotlink a picture from ePHOTOzine, but you can from many sites.
It's easier to set up an ePHOTOzine identity!

It should work.....
Hope that helps a bit!

Seems it can be done.
Generally speaking HTML code will not work on phpBB Bulletin Boards, you must use its own BBcode. In the case above it is of the form
{img}http://mywebspace/myfilename.jpg{/img}
but use square brackets instead of curly ones and modify jpg if appropriate. (If I used square brackets here the Bulletin Board software would look for a picture and you wouldn't see the code.)
BTW, the pcture above was taken with a Pentax ME Super circa 1982.
