The most straightforward way of doing it is to type in your URL (forget any tags for now) into your post, highlight it, then click the "Img" button once. Job done!

or use photobucket to host your pictures. They write the img tag for you and all you have to do is copy and paste.
you don't have to be mad to post here

When you view your picture on flickr you'll see a link offering "all sizes". When you click on it you'll find there's a 536x800 version of your photo and that's the one you want to link to. I've had a look and I think it'll be worth it as the larger size shows the detail in the plumage very nicely!

Great relief at having the image now.

A belated thank you Hefty. Had tried to respond to you at the same time as I posted the image, but the internet went down around that time and has been out for most of the past week (along with the electricity for three of the past four days ).
Also, thanks Belinda for the speedy and considered judging. My wife agreed with you about cropping but I kind of liked the twigs - thought they added texture, so left them in.

As far as I can see, I am correctly following advice in previous posts - click IMG then insert URL and then click IMG again, as follows:
This doesn't appear to work, however. Can anyone tell me why?
