Here's my shot at a couple of portrait shots.

I had the AF-360FGZ 45 degrees camera left.

Builders light bounced from wall camera right.

And direct builders light from behind at 45 degrees.

Comments andtips welcome please!

I like the compositions.
his works well.
hers...I'd try short lighting to narrow her face and a slightly higher angle to hide the chin more , and get some fill into the far eye, as well as get her to look at a different spot to keep the whole retina in the closest eye.

you know the old saying about cracking a few eggs to make an omlette?
I'd say this is definately better than broken eggs, not quite an omlette, perhaps a really good denver? very good!
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
