I have a couple of Pentax digital SLRs that are likely to become surplus to requirements, or at least one will. Trouble is, I have no idea whatever of what would be a reasonable price to ask. Is it permitted here to ask advice on reasonable pricing? Many boards discourage such questions as the intent can be to start a PM bidding session, but this is not the case for me. I simply have no idea of what the cameras are likely to sell for.

I've moved this to general chat.

Your best plan is to check out eBay for pricing and then act accordingly. If still in doubt, if you want an auction then eBay is the way to go.

The idea of Classified Ads here is to place an ad with a price, it's not an auction site.

Hope that helps!

If you go to eBay you have the option to filter by Completed Items which will show what price things did (or did not) sell for.

Or you could ask on the forum. You will get an honest answer.

If you are talking about your K20D that you have just upgraded to a K5 - assuming good condition as a minimum and depending on overall condition, shutter count, whether it is boxed complete with all the leads etc etc

You should be able to get somewhere between £140-£200.

Good luck

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more
