Polarizer for 645

I have just purchased a used 645, manual, not an N. I want to get a polarizer and wonder if I need a circular or will a linear do?

Linear will be just fine on a manual focus. Sorry for the slow reply, but I do not usually frequent this board as it only makes me want to go blow several hundred dollars on a 645.
