Today at Fremantle and Kwinana. Hardly the weather (as I know it) for Xmas down here but the light is exceptional. These are snaps. Specifically taken to try and catch this cheap lens out. Polarized because I like colours to pop.

I suspect that this little 35mm plastic mount lens is hugely underestimated.

I used a Minolta 49mm CPL as they are cleverly made to have a built in step up ring! Never a risk of vignetting.

If your thinking about owning this lens, do it. I still criticise the plastic mount but cannot fault the optics.

Oh, the sunshine and colours, the obvious suggestion of warmth. I needed wellington boots just to get to the shed at the bottom of our garden and the garage needed sweeping out. Again.

Lovely shots. I wonder how long the plastic mount will last. I have a pastic mount on my EPL1 but as it's my only 4/3 lens it never gets taken off.

35mm is a useful focal length. I often use my old manual focus 35s. Good for street photography.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Great shots Gary, I have one of these and find it perfect for shooting the kids, I have been using it recently with a ring flash attached as my metz is being fixed.
