I don't think you need to worry with that one, its only a month old and you have proof of purchase so if there is a problem you can send it straight back to Pentax.
I bought one off Ebay a couple of weeks ago for £300 with no box or pouch (using a 10% Paypal coupon) and it seems to be fine although I havent really had a proper go with it yet as I left it in the UK and bought my 16-45mm out to Spain (still not sure why I did that).

This DA 16-50 mm on ebay seems a good one,less used and comes with receipt/warranty so I am going to place my bid on it,finger crossed

I am new to this forum and to the digital photography.I have brought a K20d from park camera recently.I want to buy just one lens at moment and I like the DA 16-50 mm very much.
My question is that there is a Pentax DA * 16-50 mm up for sale at Ebay UK
at herewhich I am interested in.
Is there any effective and easy way to test a lens for its accuracy sharpness etc.
