NB.
For those who are unaware of the existence of PK-Tether see:

It is unsupported by Pentax (or indeed anybody else) and is run purely by Tomasz himself as he saw a need for tethering software that is no longer provided for Pentax cameras.

Yeah I saw but as the comment was posted over a year ago and with the explosion of the tablet market I thought I'd ask him anyway...

I've emailed Tomasz to ask about the possibility of an app-version of PK-Tether for Android tablets...
Obviously one of the main issues of this is that many Android tablets have little or no physical inputs... But there are a few that do...

I personally believe that tethering to android could be incredibly useful in various situations but as I've said in my email to Tomasz 'I'm no programmer'...
Do any of you guys (with more technical expertise than myself) see any issues or limitations to the development of a PK-Tether type app for android?
Is it simply a bad idea?
