Excellent detail. Just shows what good glass and extra pixels makes possible.
I think the Hercules and the Vulcan are a bit too tight in their frames though. Very good, otherwise.
(Note to self: have another look through the Vulcan shots and see if there's anything worth salvaging!!)

Very good indeed. Edges sharp, propellers blurred. Top effort.

Excellent stuff. Lovely to see it at 1200 wide too.

Piotro, the #3 shot of that jet fighter is a stunning photograph! With it's jets on display like that, it's a stunning angle and capture and a pure joy to look at. Cheers.

Nice Sea Hawk. I messed up all the close ones of it I took. I've got one just like that, except a ton of camera shake
Again, great detail with the F16, but I'm not liking the way they're all so tight in the frame, especially the A380.
Otherwise, terrific.
I don't see that kind of detail on mine - I'm hoping it's the extra pixels that makes the difference, since if it's my technique I may as well shoot myself now, and if it's the glass then it'll be a long time before I can afford better than I have...

Wish we got stuff like this in NI. Would love to try some aviation shots.

Having been to a similar one in ni you dont get close enough to get the sort of pictures i see here. Problem being they take off elsewhere and fly past the venue etc.Darkman, see this:

As usually on airshow, AF tried his best, but that is one of those moments when sensible guy would think "I should get a bloody Canon", anyway... .
All taken with K20D + 60-250.
