They're still sprouting so I'm still photographing. Going for their soft (or even furry ) side today. Just out of curiosity, used the F f1.7 + 38mm tube with the K3. Scarily narrow depth of field and difficult to get a good angle on anything because of the increasingly dense forest of writhing fungus. But it's fun trying!

They're increasingly looking like those wiggly things that hang around the smoking underwater vents along the mid-Atlantic ridge...

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

They certainly are interesting.

I do like the forms you have captured but some of them look like I imagine the inside of my ears to be

Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

K5 with auto-everything lenses
A collection of manual primes to keep me in touch with the pleasures of doing it old-school.

My GP daughter says they look like the inside of the gut. I couldn't possibly comment. She's been places and seen things that I find hard to imagine.
